Food Trip

For this week, my entry is about pork and vegetables. I always love to eat vegetables so this entry is not just yummy but healthy.


PORK with MIXED VEGETABLES

Ingredients:
Pork (sliced thinly)
carrots
green bell pepper
young corn
broccoli
mushroom
bokchoy
bamboo shoots
snow peas
garlic
onion
pepper
soy sauce
cornstarch (dissolved in water)

Directions:

* Marinade pork with soy sauce, pepper, and garlic
* Sautee onion, add marinaded pork and cook for 3 minutes.
* Add carrots, young corn, bamboo shoots and mushroom. Cook for 1 minute
* Add the rest of the vegetables (broccoli, pepper and snow peas)
* Cook until desired tenderness or crispiness of veggies is attained.
* Seasoned with salt and more pepper if needed.
* Add dissolved cornstarch. Stir until sauce becomes thick.
* Serve immediately.
